Game Changer Movie Review: Star director Shankar and global star Ram Charan's Game Changer movie was released in theaters on Friday. The movie, which raised expectations with its trailer and songs, has come to test its luck at the box office. So how is this movie?

Game Changer Movie Story:

Ramanandan (Ram Charan) is a young IAS officer. He changes his personality for Deepika (Kiara Advani), who loved him in college. Not only does he reduce his anger, but he also becomes an IAS officer for her. However, as soon as he takes charge, a war begins with Minister Bobbili Mopidevi (S.J. Surya) and his gang.

Mopidevi's father is Chief Minister Satyamurthy (Srikanth) from the Abhyudaya Party. What tricks did Mopidevi, who was eager for positions, make for the CM position? What did she do with the power of power to Ram Nandan, who was in her way? How did Ram Nandan confront Mopidevi? What is Ram Nandan's relationship with the Abhyudaya Party, Appanna (Ram Charan), and Parvati (Anjali)? To know such things, you have to watch the rest of the movie!

Game Changer Movie Analysis:

'Oke Oke', 'Shivaji' is a story that revolves around the system and purges, just as it was touched upon in 'Shivaji'. This is a battle between a young IAS officer and a political leader. Apart from the Shankar Mark visuals and the occasional episode, the film does not really capture the hearts of the audience in terms of story and emotions. This is a generation that loves realistic films. They need to be shown a new world that they have not seen on screen before, or at least a story that feels close to reality. However, 'Game Changer' strayed from both of these.

The film revolves around issues like the Election Commission and the legislative system. In these days of media and social media, even the common man is learning about elections. Shankar, who was called unpredictable, has shown the background in a completely dramatic and unnatural way like the films that came out in the 90s. The film begins by reminding the CM of one day in 'Oke Oke'. Scenes like Ram Nandan, who has taken charge as an IAS, arresting the corrupt officials and rooting out the corrupt officials are seen. In that sequence, the clash that begins between Minister Bobbili Mopidevi and Ram Nandan makes this film a bit interesting.

However, Ram Nandan's flashback which begins in the middle takes the film in another direction. Even though Ram Charan is seen in a new look as an angry young man, the love story that comes in that backdrop does not impress the audience much. The twist that comes in the interval scenes is impressive. Flashback episodes in Shankar's movies are very impressive. Although the flashback in the first half was not very impressive, Shankar captivated the audience with the episode that comes in the second half.

A good drama was created against the backdrop of the struggle that came at that time, his entry into politics, and the challenges he faced in that process. As soon as it was over, the movie became ordinary again. Scenes like an election officer telling people not to take money for voting, giving orders to leave it even though they say they are sending money as bait, and using drones to scare the rowdies and protect the EVMs from them seems a bit cinematic.

Game Changer Movie Actors Performance:

Ram Charan is seen in a role that spans three angles. He impressed the audience with his performance as an angry young man, as an appanna, and as a public servant. His looks also impress the audience. Especially his performance in the appanna role seems more impressive. However, Kiara Advani's role does not have much importance in this film. She impresses with her beauty only in the songs. Anjali has been roped in to play the role of Parvathy, whose acting is important. She appears in two different looks. The emotions behind her character are well-developed.

S.J. Surya's performance as Minister Mopidevi is the highlight of the film. While playing the villain with his brilliant acting, he makes the audience laugh everywhere. Srikanth also makes a splash in this film with two looks. He is the key character who turns the story around. Jayaram, Samudrakhani, Rajiv Kanakala and others are seen in important roles. Sunil is a side-angle character. There is nothing new in that character except for showing it like that. Brahmanandam appears like this and disappears like that. The roles of Prithvi, Raghubabhu, and others do not have much importance in the film.

The symbolic sections of this film have performed well. Thiru has captivated the audience with visuals. Every scene looks grand. Thaman's music has been the main strength of the film. Even more than the songs, the background music has been the highlight of the film. The songs 'Jaragandi' and 'Raa Maccha' have been very impressive.

The song Arugamidi is impressive. The art and editing departments have done a good job. The art team of Monika, Ramakrishna, and Avinash, in particular, has done a great job in every scene. The writing is lacking in the film. The words seem to be irrelevant. Shankar, who is an expert in showing and telling social issues on screen, could not show the rest effectively except for a few scenes. In terms of production, Dilraju and Sirish did not do anything.

Strengths

+ Ram Charan's performance

+ Thaman's music

+ Visuals

Weaknesses

- Outdated story and narration

- Lack of emotions

Finally: This 'game' should have been played better!
