Pushpa 2 Movie Review: The film 'Pushpa-1' has created a craze at the pan-India level. The film, which started with a negative talk on the first day, became a success at the pan-India level and collected a lot of money. Moreover, Allu Arjun won the National Best Actor Award, which was not achieved by any great actor in the history of Telugu cinema for 90 years. Now Pushpa has become a brand all over the world. Pushpa-2 has been planned to match it.
It has created a huge craze right from the first teaser. Big distributors across the country competed for this film. State governments have given permission to increase the ticket rates for premiere shows. Seeing the benefit ticket rate, they thought 'Oh, that's a lot'. On the other hand, there are differences among mega fans. There is a buzz on social media that Allu Arjun does not watch movies. 'Pushpa 2' has come to the audience amidst all these expectations and pressures. And how is this film? Is it better than the first film? Let's see how Sukumar and Allu Arjun's three years of hard work pay off...
Pushpa 2 Movie Story:
Pushparaj (Allu Arjun) starts his career as a red sandalwood laborer and rises to the level of ruling the syndicate and politics. He even reaches the level of giving funds to the ruling party. When Pushpa leaves to meet the CM.. 'Come and take a picture with the CM', his wife Srivalli (Rashmika) fulfills his wish. (Rashmika). However, the ruling CM mocks him by saying that the smugglers only give party funds but not for taking pictures. Taking it seriously, Pushpa takes a picture with MP Siddappa (Rao Ramesh) and promises to make him the Chief Minister.
For that, he is ready to give a fund of Rs. 500 crores. For that, he has to smuggle 2000 tons of red sandalwood. Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Fazal) makes efforts to stop the smuggling and avenge the insult he received. Was Bhanwar Singh able to smuggle those 2000 thousand tons past Shekhawat or not? How did he keep his promise to Srivalli? How did Pushpa, who was a traitor to the family name and family, get it? This is the story.
Pushpa 2 Movie Analysis:
The director has shown from the first scene that Pushpa is not national... international... not fire, but wildfire. Believing in the mass image that Allu Arjun had in his first film, he focused more on that character and heroism. He displayed his mark of psychological and mind games in the story. The film begins with Pushpa's elevation scene upside down in Japan. It seemed simple to beat up the gang that had laid hands on his cargo there.
After traveling in a container for 40 days without food, Pushpa goes to Japan to find out who his cargo is going to and to collect its money. If you cut, you will see a flashback. The scene of the insults his friends did to him in childhood, such as his father's name and family name, comes on the screen. The audience's mind is diverted with that jerk. It seems like the groove has been lost. The story comes into its own with each subsequent scene. From the moment he declares at the police station, 'These are Pushpa's rules..', the real fair starts.
Although the story starts in a regular format, the director has given its conclusion as a convening one. He has made the mind not diverted by the hero's elevations at every step. The ruckus that Pushpa creates at the police station that it is not mall or money... those who trust her are important is another level. From there, Pushpa and Shekhawat go above and beyond each other, and a while passes. Although the first half is a bit slow, the interval bang is another level.
Shekhawat, who apologizes to Pushpa, is unexpectedly shocked. However, here Pushpa not only brings business but also family background and emotions in the middle. Pushpa, who does not go beyond his wife's word, shows what happens when his wife does what she says. The love and affection between Pushpa and Srivalli are very cute on screen. Now, when it comes to the second half, the Gangamma Jatara episode is at the next level. Every time Allu Arjun ties his saree, the theater is in a state of shock.
Heroism and family emotions are at one level in the Jatara episode. Srivalli's role is very crucial in those scenes. The wife, who does not say a word to her husband, shows her stand. The scene where two thousand crores of red sandalwood are crossed by lorries in the river is impressive. However, when Shekhawat tries to stop the lorries, it becomes clear that there is a reason behind the drivers jumping over them and running away. The entire second half of the story revolves around his elder daughter, whom the family calls Chinnaya.
Those scenes... give the impression that the story has gone sideways. However, it is understood in the closing scenes that the real story is there. The fight scenes and family emotions that come there are entertaining. Many scenes give the film a high. If you mention them, you lose interest. You should watch them on screen. However, the pacing in the film is also good. In the beginning, the fight does not seem to be a link to the story... it seems to be added just for the sake of elevation.
The scenes in the second half where Shekhawat is given a white flower after knowing that what is in the lorries is not red sandalwood are a burden to the story. However, like the first part, there is no strong villainy in this one either. When Shekhawat's character reaches the climax, it feels like a mantra. The characters of Mangalam Srinu and Drakshayani are the same! Whatever is there is there! The twists and turns in the opening scenes have laid the foundation for the movie 'Pushpa 3'.
